Substitute Teaching Assistants and substitute Head Teachers support throughout our 27-week after-school program with hands-on classroom activities when we have a facilitator absence we need we need to fill.
As a needs arise, cleared individuals on this call-list will receive communication about the volunteer opportunity to step into the classroom for two to three hours. Your presence helps build confidence around STEM and supports collaboration, problem-solving, and perseverance.
Individuals can opt in or out of each opportunity as they are contacted.
These volunteer positions have a few requirements:
1) Clearances and a brief interview and training designed to help prepare you to support in the classroom
2) Reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license
